KEENAGERS - PLAY DOMINOS AND VISIT - BRING POTLUCK!
We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month - even in the summer - in the Fellowship Hall.  Lunch is served at noon.  The "crowd" is mostly over 50, but everybody's welcome! (It IS okay to buy something to bring, you don't have to make it.)

KIDS!  You can come, too. We'd love to get to know you...we might even be able to teach you a thing or two...and the other way around! For more information, call Geri Collinge at 388-3375.

MERRY MARTHA QUILTERS
This group meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month (except holidays).  They meet from 9:00 am til noon, with a 10:00 coffee break, and enjoy socializing at noon with a sack lunch. For more information, or if anyone is interested in forming an evening group to work at church for a few hours, please call Ione Hager, 388-4278.

This past season we gave away 130 quilts, plus 9 wool blankets in very good condition:

10 quilts and the 9 blankets went to the Women’s Center
17 to our Christmas project
3 to Good Earth Village Auction
14 to High School graduates
1 to Lucas Kells, 3 year old cancer patient.
He was given one with animals and different things to identify – a “learning quilt” and he says, “It’s my favorite quilt!”
75 will go with Pastor Gene Hasselquist in November as he leaves for Texas for the winter months. Those are distributed to needy Mexicans living near the border.

MUSIC AND WORSHIP

THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
This Bible Study has met every Thursday morning at 9:30 am for over 30 years, with new members always joining the group. Class time is an enjoyable combination of presentation from a leader (often one of the pastors) and large group discussion. Classes usually meet during the school year. For more information, call Pastor Kirsten, 388-7106.

All women are invited to attend this study. It will be an informal study and discussion for all ages. If you are a "Bible Study pro", or if you have never come to a Bible Study before, you are invited to come for this review of your Confirmation classes.

These studies meet on Thursday mornings, from 9:30 to 10:45. There is coffee available, and somebody usually brings a treat for our coffee break.   All women of St. Paul 's are invited to participate in this study/discussion.

TUESDAY MORNING MEN'S BREAKFAST & BIBLE STUDY (RISERS)All the men of the congregation and the community are invited to come to the Risers, a long-standing breakfast and discussion group held in St. Paul's Fellowship Hall (basement level) every Tuesday morning through Memorial Day.  A hot breakfast is served at 6:30 a.m. and discussion starts at 7:00 a.m.  Burt Will of St. Paul's and Jeff Grosso of St. Joseph's lead the discussion.  For questions you can contact Burt at (651) 388-7894. WOMEN IN MINISTRY

Women in Ministry lead the church through Women Leadership Teams. Although women of the church serve on various church-wide ministry teams and committees, they also lead and support the church through a variety of other activities. Each month there is a balance of physical activities, book studies, Bible study, women circles, and a service feature. The calendar is to be announced. An example of activities planned for last year were:

Walk for Strong Women
Bicycle Built for Two – God and you! Lunch in Welch
Volleyball for Moms and Daughters
Introduction to Yoga
Bachman’s Flower Tour
Introduction to TI Chi
Salad Luncheon “Gardening for the Soul”
“ Being a Mom in this Hectic World”
Progressive Dinner (all churches)
Craft Night

Book studies are held between services in the conference room on the 4th Sunday of the month. You do NOT have to read the book to come! Maybe the study will be an opportunity to get acquainted with other women in the church community or assist you in deciding whether to read the book.

For more information contact Judi Mickelson at 388-8776.

Members of the committee would be asked to help decorate the sanctuary for special services, for example: Easter, Christmas, Harvest Sunday. The time required for each decorating session would be 1 - 2 hours.   Please contact Cindy Kells.
