For current information and details, please contact the church office by phone or email, or see links below. We have a highly active and enthusiastic group of young people in Sunday School. These students are encouraged and nurtured by very dedicated teachers and helpers. For the 2003 – 2004 Sunday School year we offer classes for preschool – 6th grade. The Sunday School classes will meet from 9:45 – 10:45 am each Sunday. This year we will be offering a combination of the traditional and rotational model of Sunday School. Parents and Sunday School students are invited to attend the 9:30 worship service together, and then at 9:45 all students will be excused from worship in order to attend Sunday School. Sunday School will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 am, with an ALL Sunday School Closing Worship from 10:35 to 10:45. All interested individuals are invited to participate in the Sunday School Closing Worship. LOOKING AHEAD - In the near future, we hope to offer more opportunities from the rotational model of Sunday School. This could include such things as our own movie theater (including pop corn!), computer lab, temple/story area, craft room, and the Cooking Corner. Click here for the latest Sunday School News. An exciting, fun-filled and enriching VBS is offered every summer, usually the 2nd week of August, a Sunday through Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:15. This evening includes supper, music, games, stories, worship and crafts. We also offer adult VBS along with our children’s VBS! So parents and other adults, you are also invited to participate in our VBS program. Read about this year's Vacation Bible School Our faith-based program is intended for 6th, 7th and 8th grades, and includes large group presentations, small group discussions, worship projects, service projects within the congregation and community, and fellowship events. Affirmation/Confirmation Sunday is normally the first Sunday of May. Click here for the latest Confirmation News. Check out our Youth Page for details. This small, but active and lively group meets every Sunday to enthusiastically discuss a great variety of topics, concerns, and faith related issues. Adult Forum will be meeting from 9:30 – 10:30 am. These Study Classes normally run from 4 – 7 weeks each, are offered at a variety of times during the school year, are taught by one of the pastors, and focus on a book of the Bible, part of the Small Catechism, or a theological topic. THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY This Bible Study has met every Thursday morning at 9:30 am for over 30 years, with new members always joining the group. Class time is an enjoyable combination of presentation from a leader (often one of the pastors) and large group discussion. Classes usually meet during the school year, in the gathering area. For more information, contact Donna Nadeau, 388-9442. TUESDAY MORNING MEN'S BREAKFAST & BIBLE STUDY (RISERS) This non-denominational group of men meets every Tuesday morning in the Fellowship Hall for great fellowship, a tasty breakfast and a discussion-style Bible study. They meet from 6:30 – 7:45 am during the school year. Enter at the West Avenue door. For more information, contact Burt Will at 388-7984. |
